But you can also get the dark screen in the Youtube app on your iPhone by enabling the Dark theme setting. Our tutorial below will show you where to find and enable this setting in the official Youtube app on your iPhone.
How to Enable the Youtube Night Mode on an iPhone
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 11.4.1. By completing the steps in this guide you will be enabling the dark theme in the app that switches the coloring of the app from the standard white color scheme to one that is dark gray. Note that this assumes you already have the Youtube app on your iPhone. If not, you will need to download it from the App Store first before you can complete these steps.
Step 1: Open the Youtube app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Tap your profile icon at the top-right corner of the window.
Step 3: Select the Settings option.
Step 4: Tap the button to the right of Dark theme.
The appearance of the app should change instantly so that you now have night mode enabled. I have turned it on in the picture below.
