How to Enable or Disable Button Shapes on an iPhone 7

Due to the lack of physical buttons on the iPhone, the device and its operating system need to rely on on-screen buttons to help you navigate your various apps and menus. Sometimes these buttons are easy to find or distinguish, but there are other times where it may not be so obvious that there is something you can press to navigate to a different screen or menu.

One way to make these buttons a little more distinct is to enable a “Button Shapes” option within the Settings menu. Our tutorial below will help you find this setting so that you can enable it and see if that makes it a little easier for you to tell what is and is not a button on your iPhone 7.
