How to Turn Off Voice Dial on an iPhone 7

Your iPhone has a feature called Voice Dial that lets you speak a contact’s name or phone number into the microphone so that the phone will automatically place the call. This is really helpful if you often need to make phone calls when you are distracted or unable to actually dial it. It can also be faster to place a call this way rather than navigate through a long list of contacts.

But you may be worried that anyone with access to your phone is able to place a call with voice dial, so you might decide to turn it off. Our tutorial below will show you where to find and disable the voice dial setting on your iPhone 7.
