The steps in this article are going to show you how to mute an Apple Watch.
- You can mute your Apple Watch either directly from the watch, or through the Watch app on your iPhone.
- Putting your Apple Watch into silent mode won’t mute alarms or timers if the watch is charging.
- You can also tap the icon on the watch with two masks on it to put the watch into theater mode. This will mute the Apple Watch and prevent the screen from illuminating.
- Press the crown button on the side of the watch to get to the Home screen.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to open the menu.
- Scroll down and tap the bell icon.
