How to Shut Off the iPhone 13 Auto-Brightness Setting
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 13 in the iOs 16.4 operating system.
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down and choose the Accessibility option.
Step 3: Touch the Display & Text Size button near the top of the screen.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap the button to the right of Auto-Brightness to turn it off.

Now that you know how to stop the iPhone 13 from dimming itself, you will be able to modify this setting whenever you do or don’t want the iPhone to use the auto-brightness feature.
You can always manually adjust the brightness of your iPhone screen by going to Settings > Display & Brightness, then adjusting the Brightness slider there.
