How to Manage Contact Permissions on an iPhone 5

Some of the apps on your iPhone have some interesting features that allow you to share things with your friends. For some social media apps, this can be done through relationships that you have built with that platform. For other apps, however, this might be accomplished by scouring the details of the contacts on your iPhone.

In certain situations you can dramatically improve the way that the app works if you give it permission to access your contacts. In other situations, however, you might inadvertently wind up spamming your friends with notifications from the app. Therefore, you might like to see which apps currently have access to your contacts. Once you find this list, you can selectively decide which apps should have access to your contacts, and which apps you wish to deny access.
