The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 12.3.1. Note that you can also stop Pandora music from playing by pressing the Pause button at the bottom of the app.
Step 1: Press the Home button at the bottom of your iPhone twice to open the app switcher.
Step 2: Locate the Pandora app.
Step 3: Tap on the Pandora app and swipe it off the top of the screen to close the app.
