To remove a device from your Google Account, go to myaccount.google.com, click Security, and under Your devices click Manage all devices. Select the device you want to remove and click Sign out. Google signs your account out of that phone, tablet, or computer, and it disappears from the list. If the device was lost or stolen, change your password afterward too.

If a device can’t be signed out
Some entries don’t show a Sign out button, such as sessions that are already inactive or devices that use your account in a way that can’t be ended remotely. To secure your account:
- Change your Google password. This signs you out of most devices, except those used to verify your identity.
- Remove third-party access in Security > Your connections to third-party apps & services.
- Check recovery options and two-step verification so nobody else can get back in.
Lost or stolen phone?
- Go to google.com/android/find (Find Hub) to locate, lock, or erase an Android device.
- Sign the device out from Manage all devices.
- Change your Google password.
- Remove the device from your Google Play device list if you want it hidden in the Play Store: go to play.google.com/settings and uncheck Show in menus.
Remove your Google Account from a device you have

- iPhone: In the Gmail app, tap your profile picture > Manage accounts on this device > Remove from this device.
- Chrome: Click your profile icon > Sign out, or remove the profile.

Frequently asked questions
Why does a device I don’t recognize appear in my list?
It may be an old phone, a browser session, or a device you signed in on briefly. If you truly don’t recognize it, sign it out, change your password, and review Recent security activity.
Will removing a device delete my data from it?
No. Signing out stops syncing and access to your account, but files already on the device stay there. Use Find Hub to erase a lost Android device.
Why does a removed device come back?
If someone signs in again on that device, it reappears. Change your password to stop that.
How many devices can be signed in to one Google Account?
Google doesn’t publish a limit for signing in to your account on different devices. Some individual services, like YouTube Premium downloads, have their own device limits.
