My dropped pin is gone

A dropped pin that was never saved or labeled isn’t added to any list, so it won’t be in You or Saved. Try these options:

  • Tap the search box. Recent searches, and sometimes recent places you opened, may appear as suggestions.
  • If you had Timeline on and actually went to the spot, check Your Timeline.
  • If you shared the pin in a text or email, open that message; the link still points to the spot.
