The playlist feature in the Music app on your iPhone gives you ways to group together songs for specific events or moods. While your initially-created playlist might contain most of the songs that you want, you might find that you are adding more songs later.
But it’s possible for you to add a song to a playlist in Apple Music without also adding it to your library. Add Songs to Library When Adding to Playlists in Apple Music
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 12. By completing the steps n this guide, anytime yu add a song to a playlist in the future, that song will also be added to your library.
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down and choose the Music option.
Step 3: Tap the button to the right of Add Playlist Songs.
