To share a Google Calendar event link, open Google Calendar on a computer, click the event, click the three-dot Options menu, and choose Publish event. Copy the Link to event and paste it into an email, chat, or website. People who open the link can see the event details and add it to their own calendar. To give someone a spot on the actual event, add them as a guest instead.

How to get a shareable event link
- Go to calendar.google.com and click the event.
- In the event details, click the three-dot Options icon.
- Click Publish event.
- Copy the Link to event. (The HTML code below it lets you embed a button on a website.)
If you don’t see Publish event, your organization may restrict it, or the event may be on a calendar you can’t edit.

- Open the event and click the pencil icon to edit it.
- Under Add guests, type their email addresses.
- Click Save, then Send to email the invitations.
How to share an event from your phone
The Google Calendar app doesn’t offer Publish event. Instead, open the event, tap the pencil icon, and add guests. Or open calendar.google.com in your phone’s browser, switch to the desktop site, and use Publish event there.
Privacy tips
- Anyone who has the link can see the event’s title, time, location, and description. Remove private details before sharing.
- Published links don’t reveal your other events.
- To share your whole calendar instead, open Settings > your calendar > Share with specific people or groups.
