Method 1: Open a BIN disc image with 7-Zip
- Download 7-Zip from its official website (7-zip.org) and install it.
- Right-click the .bin file in File Explorer.
- Choose 7-Zip > Open archive to browse the files, or Extract to to copy them to a new folder. On Windows 11, click Show more options first.
This works for many data discs. It won’t work for audio CD images or some game discs with multiple tracks, and 7-Zip may show an error for them. For those, use Method 2.
Method 2: Mount the BIN file as a virtual drive
