How to Remove Strikethrough in Word 2013

A useful, but not commonly utilized, font formatting option in Microsoft Word is something called strikethrough. This allows you to draw a line through some of the text in your document. An advantage of doing this, rather than simply deleting the text, is that it still lets you keep information that you think you don’t need, but aren’t entirely sure about. If you decide later that you do want the crossed out text in your document, you can simply remove the strikethrough.

But if you haven’t used strikethrough before, then you might be struggling with the part of this process where you remove the line. Our tutorial below will show you how to select text that contains strikethrough, then show you how to remove it.
