Podcasts are a great form of entertainment when you are driving or exercising and aren’t in the mood to listen to music. There are a ton of excellent podcasts across a wide variety of genres, and it’s fairly likely that you will find something that interests you.
Your iPhone has a default Podcasts app that lets you search for and listen to podcasts, and it has a number of features that can make the process a little easier. One way to do this is by subscribing to a podcast that you like. This will cause the iPhone to constantly check for new episodes of the podcast, and download them when they’re available. How to Add a Subscription to a Podcast in the iPhone Podcast App
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 11.3. By completing the steps in this guide you will subscribe to a podcast in the default iPhone Podcasts app. This will not affect any other apps on which you might also listen to podcasts, such as Spotify.
Step 1: Open the Podcasts app.
Step 2: Select the Search option at the bottom of the screen if you know the name of the podcast to which you would like to subscribe. Otherwise you can choose the Browse option and locate a podcast through there.
Step 3: Choose the podcast to which you would like to subscribe.
Step 4: Tap the Subscribe button near the top of the screen.
