How to Hide a Slide in Powerpoint 2013

Microsoft Powerpoint has a lot of ways that you can edit slides, including an option that lets you remove a slide from a presentation.

This ability to hide slides is really useful because it means that the slide won’t be included in the presentation, but it doesn’t delete it if you are going to add it back to the slideshow at a later time.

Sometimes you will find that you need to make a Powerpoint presentation that will be shown to a couple of different audiences. Depending upon the makeup of those audiences, it’s possible that all of the slides in your presentation may not be relevant.

But rather than create two separate presentation files, you might find it easier to simply hide and unhide the individual slides in the slideshow as you need them.

This lets you keep your work available in case you need it, but also lets you omit information that isn’t relevant to particular groups. Our tutorial below will show you how to hide slides in Powerpoint 2013.
