How to End With the Last Slide Instead of a Black Screen in Powerpoint 2013

Many of the elements of your Powerpoint presentation will not occur until you have chosen to play the slideshow. However, there are other elements of the presentation that may not be apparent until you have viewed the entirety of the presentation as it will be shown to your audience. One of the elements is the way that the slideshow ends.

You may find that Powerpoint 2013 is ending on a black screen. While this can provide a clear message that the presentation is over, you may have designed your slideshow to include important information on the last screen so that your audience could reference it. Fortunately you can change the Powerpoint settings so that it ends on your last slide rather than this black screen.
