How to Add a Section to a Slideshow in Powerpoint 2013

Sometimes when you create a Powerpoint presentation, there will be different “parts” to the presentation. Whether you are going to work on each of these parts separately, or if you aren’t quite sure of the exact order in which they will be presented, it can be helpful to simply move around each of these parts as a group, rather than doing so with each individual slide.

Powerpoint has a tool that lets you specify sections of your presentation, which can make identifying these parts a lot easier. Once you have created a section in Powerpoint you can easily move around all of the slides in that section as a cohesive unit, which dramatically reduces confusion when re-ordering slides.
